The estimable scribes of The Guardian have selected our forthcoming Leicester Square Theatre show on December 9 as one of their picks of the week.
Amongst their kind words: “Given that the group can call upon the talents of highly rated young character comic Cariad Lloyd, laughs are likely to be plentiful, and it turns out the tropes and tics of Austen are fertile territory for high-grade humour”. Their sentiments can be accessed here, or perused in print in the Guardian Guide.
Austentatious’ forthcoming December show at the Leicester Square Theatre has been conferred ‘Hot Ticket’ status by celebrated periodical The Evening Standard.
Mister Bruce Dessau kindly described our entertainments as an “ingenious monthly cult event” with a “versatile cast”. Tickets may be purchased here.
Prior to our Leicester Square performance on November 10, our humble theatricals were accorded “one to watch” status by The Times of England.
According to Dominic Maxwell, Austentatious was “one of the word of mouth hits of the Edinburgh Fringe”. Salutations and good health to the gentleman.
On November 5, Austentatious will be enjoying a restorative soujourn at the Bristol Jam improvisation festival.
Be sure to order your landau to arrive for 7pm at the hallowed Bristol Old Vic. Austentatious will be joining the likes of madcap gentleman Reggie Watts, tuneful ensemble Polar Bear and noblewoman of note Sara Pascoe. Full details are available from the Bristol Jam website.
